KING, who designed books, fabric, jewelry, pottery and more in a distinctive Art Nouveau style which remains highly collectible today. This bookseller is very tempted to utilize the various plans either in the intended cardboard and "materials to be had," or perhaps in gingerbread for a uniquely King-inspired holiday village display. (What a great excuse to break out the craft supplies!) King published few written works, leaving those communications to her husband, the artist E.A. Taylor, so this is a rarity in that regard. Her spirit-guide in this semi-autobiographical story of creativity is called The White Woman, imagined in a "waking dream" of the little girl Miriam.**REF: C.
