The scene is a Dutch landscape with a windmill, a river running into the foreground and rainstorm beginning in the distance while parts of the sky remain sunlit; more experimentation for the printmaker's experiments in chiaroscuro. The Count's coat of arms features at the bottom of the page. This was among the de Marcenay de Ghuy's prints published separately for sale and later incorporated into the book, circa 1780, hence the two different plate reference numbers. REF: Leblanc 52.
