These images may have been inspired by a working trip to Tahiti by the couple, the fruits of which were published by the Oceanic Steamship Company in 1902's travel book, "Tahiti the Golden." CHARLES AUGUSTUS KEELER (1871-1937). This book is dedicated to the couple's eldest child, Merodine.
