Thankfully, Detective Ellery Queen is on the scene!**Begun in 1928, the Brooklyn, New York detective fiction AUTHORS Frederic Dannay (1905-1982) and Manfred Bennington Lee (1905-1971) wrote under the penname Ellery Queen, also the name of their detective, famously launching their successful joint career with a publisher's contest by the Stokes Company.
