Frontispiece portrait of the Poet, with guard, and facsimile signature. Index. vi, 1-282pp. CONDITION: Very Good Plus, with very minimal shelfwear, one minor area of fraying at foot of spine. Hinges in order. Offset browning to front endpaper, but otherwise generally clean and sound. Gently age toned, no signs of foxing seen. Former owner name in pencil to ffep dated Xmas '85. **Contains many of the English Victorian poet Robert Browning's (1812-1889) favorite works, including "My Last Duchess," "The Last Ride Together," "Fra Lippo Lippi," "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came," "Rabbi Ben Ezra," Porphyria"s Lover," and many more.
