Limited edition of 650 copies . **CONDITION: Near Fine, (very light wear at head and foot of joints,) in the original Very Good plain paper d/j. **The Connecticut-born typographer and book designer Bruce Rogers (1870-1957) was considered one of the foremost in his field, working for many years at Boston's Houghton Mifflin Company and the Riverside Press, before going on to work independently here, and in England. This volume has excerpts from addresses discussing his legacy given at a conference on Rogers at Purdue University in 1970, and includes interesting reminiscences about the typographer and other printing contemporaries.
