Hard cover, minature, (3 x 4 1/2 inches) in brown cloth, stamped in blind to both boards with a floral border, the titles blocked in gold to the spine. A volume number 15 appears to lower spine, (presumably part of a set.) Contains 8 American Tract didactic stories for the promotion of Christian virtues among children. No. 105, "Mary Lord," (16 pp.); No. 106 "Little Mary", (16 pp.); No. 107 "The Carnation," (16 pp. and 4 illust.); No. 108 "Margaret Rose Wanless," (16 pp. and 3 illust.) ; No. 109 "Little Susan," (16 pp. and 5 illust. ) No. 110 "The Gloworm," No. 111 "Strange Sights" and No. 112 "Arthur and Alice." Each story has its own illustrated title page and page numbering. The Tract Society began publishing in 1825; these stories are from the circa 1850's. CONDITION: Very Good. A bit dusty, with mildly age toned pages and minor foxing throughout.
