Pour forth thy praise, to that great bring anthems raise." Rear of wraps printed with a vignette of the Foulis art deco style rose. Contains 5 color illustrations by the ARTIST Frederick Gardner (1882-1968). Gardner was a painter and poster artist born in London's Hackney. 35 [2] pp. including final page publisher's advertising, listing the "Envelope Books," of which there are 17 entries. The cover designs of this series were designed by Glasgow's Jessie M. King. Printed Neill and Company, Edinburgh. CONDITION: Very Good. No foxing, slight soiling The medieval Persian Poet, MOHAMMED SCHEMS-EDDIN HÁFIZ, (d. 1388) was, according to the Preface, born at Shiraz and a contemporary with Dante.
