Copyright reading "First published in 1906." COLLATION: [i-vi], vii, [viii], 1-306pp., [1] 40pp. paginated "Messrs. Methuen & Sons" catalogue bound in at rear, dated August 1906. The Table of Contents lists 15 chapters, the 49 sections of which Keating says are abstracted from prior-serialized material from the Author's memoirs of his life at sea, some appearing in the Pall Mall Magazine Jan.- June 1905.**CONDITION: Very Good. Hinges just starting but holding firmly, light foxing to endpapers, two lightly bumped corners, and head of spine may have two repairs. Some small marks to boards. Still, overall a nice copy with no inscriptions and mildly toned pages in a square and tight binding.
