He was a German & British graphic designer known for his work as Head of Typography and Design at Penguin Books.. Contains many samples of his marked-up page layouts and the final printed product. The "New Series" was a follow-on of the magazine's original publishing run between 1902 to the 1970's, originally published by the Lanston Monotype Corporation.
