Printer: University Press, John Wilson and Son, Cambridge, U.S.A. With stamp inside rear cover, "Boston Bookbinding Co." Laurence Housman, (1865- 1959), prolific British author perhaps better known for his dramas and book illustrations, gives us a fantasy tale for adults. This was his first novel. Condition: Good: Spine darkened. Some loss at head and foot of spine. One bumped corner, edges of text browned. Interior is at least Very Good: bright, clean and firm. Hint of foxing to endpapers only. Name of former owner in old ink on ffep. A handsome item and scarce.
