Information about author Joe Mills (1880- 1935) comes to us from his obituary published in the Greeley Daily Tribune on 3 Oct. 1935. He was a famous Boulder, Colorado author and naturalist, and the brother of Enos Mills. Together the brothers were "instrumental in the designation of the Estes Park region to become Rocky Mountain National Park." Joe Mills was also a winning football coach, golfer and hotelier. He attended Colorado State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts at Fort Collins, CO. He was also the author of A Mountain Boyhood (1926.) Condition: Good. Foxing throughout.
