156pp. George Shaw Aitken (1836 - 1921) was a Scottish architect, known for restoring Lady Stair's House in the Old Town in 1896-7. The Pentlands Hills are to the south of Edinburgh, and this book describes the history and literary references associated with the hills and the towns and villages around them. Condition: Light wear to corners and light marks to boards. CONDITION: Very Good.
